DIY Easter Egg Toss Game

Jaime Holzhauser

I love Pinterest. I need Pinterest. I am a tired mom of three and always  have mom brain with brain block. So Pinterest is my go-to! Now, that is not to say that I don’t have a ton of Pinterest fails, oh I do. (I’ll share those at some point, too.) But every once in awhile I squeak out a winner.  Here is my most recent (successful) project for my daughter’s Spring Party at school: The Bean Bag Game.

Supplies you’ll need to make the game:

  • Corrugated Tri-Fold Display Board (I used white) $5.50 at Michaels
  • Thick Black Permanent Marker
  • Card Stock in Multiple Colors
  • Utility Knife - Box Cutter
  • Glue Stick
  • Elmer’s Glue
  • Cotton Balls
  • Pencil
  • Scissors

Supplies to play the game:

  • 3 Foam Eggs or Bean Bags or Whiffle Balls

I started by penciling in the bunny at the center board. Then I cut out the card stock for the sun, clouds, grass, and eggs. Using a glue stick I attached all the cutout pieces. I added the finishing touches of the bunny with the black marker and Elmer glued on his cotton ball tail. Lastly, I carefully cut out the two holes. (Trying not to end up in the ER at 11 o’clock at night.)

Ta-da! Success! I’d love to hear if you tried this project or a variation of it. Comment here or on my Pinterest Board to let me know how is turned out.
